Really love this game console, it is reminiscent of the classic Gameboy color system with a modern twist. The screen really looks amazing, colors pop, resolution isnāt amazing but good enough to play all the retro systems with flying colors. I really like how dim the display gets, at its lowest setting I can easily play the console in pitch darkness, the only thing that annoys me is the bright led light that is visible through the transparent shell, it is jarringly bright and I cannot find a way of turning it off, you can only change the color from the default blue to a red which is slightly dimmer. Wish I could turn the LED off all together. Buttons are all really responsive on the console, all clicks register first time, the analogue sticks are recessed and feel good, almost identical to Nintendo switch style analogue sticks. The A,B,X,Y buttons feel good, good travel and good membrane style feel. The trigger buttons donāt feel great and have a hollow click but do work fine and are placed well. The front 3 buttons are really clicky and hollow feeling and unfortunately one feels different than the other two which is a bit odd. The D pad feels great and has a good membrane style click to it.The software is really where this console shines, amazing amount of preloaded games about half of which already have box art scraped so has a really nice look in emulation station. Comes with a 256gb micro SD which you can add more games too and also potentially install custom firmware, but the out of the box experience will be perfect for 90% of users. Amazing selection of games, from all the classics on GBA, NES, SNES, Gameboy and a ton more. Battery life is really great too, left it at about 40% and didnāt use it for a few days and it stayed at the exact same battery percentage which is awesome.Overall for $80 you get a lot of value here, a ton of games to play, good feeling and looking game console, good screen, great software, highly recommend this if you want to play some classic retro games on the go, I love it!
